Tellico Plains Inn was a wonderful place to stay. The room was spacious, clean and well stocked with whatever you might need. John was very good and fast to respond. His aunt ( the inn keeper) was fantastic. She was very pleasant and always willing to go above and beyond, her cat Nigel was a nice surprise, gave it the homey feeling. Will stay again if in the area.
I was amazed by our stay!! From communication to cleanliness to accommodations...I have nothing negative to say! John was an amazing host and I would highly recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in the area. It's location is perfect being within walking distance to shopping and dining. It was such a unique experience and I can't wait until our next stay!! It is the perfect place for a quick, relaxing getaway!
Pictures never give a place justice! The Tellico Plains Inn was lovely to walk into and even better to stay. They have kept the old charm of this hotel and upgraded it with class. This Inn was quiet, exceptionally clean and welcoming. I will be going back!
It's hard to find superlatives generous enough to describe the beauty of this historic inn. From the cheerful welcoming exterior with the rocking chairs on the porch, to the exceptional renovation of the interior (it is absolutely gorgeous !), it is clear that a whole lotta love and thoughtfulness went into this project. The historical photos and write ups really give one a sense of place. From the comfortable downstairs seating area with a full coffee/tea service area to the rooms themselves, every detail was attended to. Super supportive, amazingly comfortable bed, beautiful linens, a large modern bathroom and a coffee maker & mini frig if you want to chill in instead of venturing out. John, I can't thank you enough for offering this weary traveler such an elegant place to rest. You have much to be proud of. I wish you continued success and I will be back!
PS!!! I forgot something!! The tote bag with the Inn's logo. What a sweet and elegant touch ..
